oh gosh, this blog looks horrid… i like almost everything about it, except that the links are a blue-green-turquoise-ish color… and there’s this weird bar along the top of the footer… and since i don’t “own” it, i can’t tweak my widgets or theme or put my own custom junk on it

i’m thinking of moving to my own hosting soon, but i can’t find the time to do much of anything… maybe this summer…

Yesterday was one of those “most horrible days ever”. You know, the ones where nothing goes right? Yeah, that’s how my Saturday went.

It kinda started on Friday evening. we were at a barbecue and we were out pretty late and I forget exactly what happened, but i was in a really bad mood. Well, when I woke up on Saturday, I was still in a bad mood. But it was worse. I had a CPR training at 8 that morning and the red cross building was about 45 minutes away. I was planning to wake up at 6:30 so I’d have time to get ready and eat breakfast and everything. But my alarm decided it was going to freak and not wake me up at the proper time. My dad ended up having to get me, but he waited until 10 minutes before we were going to leave. So here I am, still in a bad mood from Friday night, waking up to find out that we had to leave in 10 minutes!

So I’m quickly scrambling to get ready, and I can’t find any clothes at all. By time I get dressed, it’s time to leave and we’re already running a little late. so we hurry out the door before I even get a chance to eat anything. no shower, no breakfast, tired, in a bad mood, and we’re running late. Finally,  the weather has been pretty decent for a couple days. Sunny and in the mid 70s with light breezes. And with the lovely weather, things seem to be looking up. I’m starting to get caught up on schoolwork, I’ve started running, camp starts in like a month, and I’m getting some driving practice in!

These last few weeks have been busy, I’ve gone driving, been trying to finish my schoolwork for the semester, and started working out. We went to dinner with my best friend and her family for passover. And we’ve been learning more about dairy goats then I ever thought we would. With my brother’s garden and now the goats, it looks like we’re going to have a regular farm going over here.

On Wednesday, I spent the whole day moving and weedeating out behind our house to get the pasture ready for the goats and now my brothers are working on fixing the barn so we’ll have some stalls to put them in. We’ve got some fencing to do in the next few days and then we’ll be ready to get the goats.

And I think i found a swim team that I’m going to join when the season starts! I think it’s like August or somthing. But yeah, things are going pretty good. Now I’m just counting down the days till camp starts… 36 or something like that. Yay!
